Paul has a particular interest in teaching about the uses of trees and plants and he is a member of the Association of Foragers. This passion for plants goes back as far as Paul can remember, for example eating peas directly from their pods in his father’s vegetable garden when he was four years old.
Paul has learned much in the subsequent years from a number of mentors as well as his own experience and loves to share what he knows. In particular was inspired by working with Professor Gordon Hillman for a time. Paul explains further;

“At the heart of Bushcraft is a study of the nature. It is a study of how to make practical and effective use of the natural materials around us for fire, food, water, shelter and more. I believe for anyone to become truly effective in employing bushcraft skills, they must be able to identify many of the trees and plants around them.”

We are happy to welcome both Paul and you to Bushcraftfestivalen 2018, Gottröra Sweden, August 24th-26th.
